From our Nantucket Collection. Named for Vesper Lane, a well-traveled road just beyond the edge of town, linking the old streets of Nantucket Town with the open island beyond.

The Vesper Rug
Hand-knotted in Pakistan from pure wool, this piece reimagines a classic village design, with generous palmettes and scattered blossoms drifting across a calm, open ground. Its hushed, sea-washed palette is made for everyday living, as easy in a busy family room as in a restful bedroom.

Colors in Detail
The field is a soft driftwood gray, like weathered shingles after a summer rain. Large blossoms open in shell ivory touched with mustard gold and charcoal, while small motifs in deep navy and slate blue scatter across it like terns over the harbor. A gray border with ivory and camel vines and blue-gray rosettes frames the whole design with quiet grace.
