Sconset Rug

From our Nantucket Collection. Named for 'Sconset, short for Siasconset, a Wampanoag name from the island's first people. The storybook village sits on the island's eastern edge, where tiny shingled cottages disappear beneath climbing roses every June.

The Sconset Rug
Hand-knotted in Nepal by Tibetan weavers from 100% wool, with a high knot density and a rich, tactile feel, this rug is a painting you can walk on. Loose, watercolor-like blooms spill across the field as if brushed onto canvas, capturing a 'Sconset garden in full summer glory.

Colors in Detail
A soft ivory ground is layered with coral, blush pink, peach and rust, like roses in every stage of bloom. Sky blue and cobalt drift through like hydrangeas, with bright golden yellow and touches of charcoal adding sparkle and depth.

The Sconset can be made to order in standard sizes (2′ × 3′, 6′ × 9′, 8′ × 10′, 9′ × 12′ and 10′ × 14′) or in a custom size for your space. Its colors are consistent from rug to rug, so your piece will match the one you see here. Email us to begin your order.
