Pocomo Rug

From our Nantucket Collection. Named for Pocomo, a name that comes from the Wampanoag, the island's first people, given to the quiet point on Nantucket's eastern shore where the calm waters of Polpis Harbor meet the head of the harbor.

The Pocomo Rug
Hand-knotted in India from 100% wool, with a deep, plush pile and larger knots, this generously sized rug is wonderfully soft underfoot. A fine lattice covers the field, softened by broad horizontal bands of color that rise and fall like the tide washing in over the shallows.

Colors in Detail
Sandy beige, stone and soft ivory drift into bands of denim and deep ocean blue, blending gently from one to the next in a soft ombré. Flecks of charcoal add depth, for a calm, understated palette that is easy to live with.
