From our Carmel-by-the-Sea Collection. Named for Pescadero, the quiet fishing village and windswept beach on the California coast north of Santa Cruz.

The Pescadero Rug
Hand-knotted in Afghanistan from 100% wool, this plush rug nods to its name, Spanish for "fishing place." A hand-drawn ivory lattice crisscrosses the field like the wakes of boats heading out at dawn, each diamond holding a simple tribal motif.

Colors in Detail
Layered blues, from pale sky to deep denim, streak across the pile like the ocean in shifting light. Natural gray and brown wool runs through it like strands of driftwood and kelp, adding an earthy, organic depth.
