Farito Rug
Farito Rug
From our Los Cabos Collection. Its name means “little lighthouse,” a nod to Faro Viejo, the old lighthouse on the Pacific side of Cabo San Lucas. Built in 1905, it is the oldest standing structure in town, and for more than a century it has watched over the dunes and the open ocean where the Baja peninsula meets the sea.
The Farito Rug
Handwoven in Iran from natural, undyed wool, this kilim flatweave is made in separate panels that are carefully joined together, a traditional technique that gives it a relaxed, artisanal character. The stripes of each panel sit slightly offset from the next, creating a gentle, modern rhythm that feels at home in a living room, bedroom, or study.
Colors in Detail
Bands of soft ivory and cream alternate with sand, taupe, driftwood gray, and deep walnut brown, like layers of desert rock and sun-bleached dunes along the Baja coast. Narrow pinstriped bands at each end finish the design with quiet detail.
