Estero Rug

From our Los Cabos Collection. Named for the Estero San José, the peaceful estuary at the edge of San José del Cabo, where fresh water from the Sierra de la Laguna mountains meets the Sea of Cortez. Its reeds, palms, and quiet lagoons are home to countless birds, with trails winding through the green.

The Estero Rug
Handwoven in Turkey from handspun wool, this kilim flatweave has a fresh, modern design of staggered stripes and blocks that shift across the surface like reflections on still water. Relaxed yet striking, it brings a breath of nature to a living room, bedroom, or sunroom.

Colors in Detail
Bands of sage, moss, olive, and seafoam green, like reeds and palm fronds along the water, alternate with soft ivory traced with wavy lines of taupe, like ripples in the sand. Here and there, a slender line of crimson adds a surprising accent, like a flash of a bird's wing among the reeds.
