From our Carmel-by-the-Sea Collection. Named for Big Sur, the wild stretch of coastline south of Carmel where the Santa Lucia Mountains plunge into the Pacific.

The Big Sur Rug
Hand-knotted in Nepal by Tibetan weavers, this rug is 70% silk and 30% wool, making silk the true star of the piece. That rich silk content gives it a luminous sheen and an indulgently soft hand, with just enough wool to keep it grounded and durable. Abstract brushstrokes drift across the field in soft horizontal bands, like the silhouette of the coast reflected in the tide below Highway 1, and the whole surface shimmers and shifts as you walk around it.

Colors in Detail
Driftwood taupe and pale silver gray set a calm foundation, washed with hints of sky blue. Bronze and olive silk strokes glint across the surface like sunlight catching the cliffs, adding quiet drama to an elevated coastal palette.
